The hanging drop is from around the sidewinder to the bottom of the hanging chain. Not the total circumference of the chain.

It measures around 38mm from the back to the front.
The chain drop is from the side winder to the bottom of the chain loop.
Each sidewinder comes with a FREE safety device, which must be fitted at least 1.5m from the floor to the bottom of the chain.
